A night I would prefer not to repeat

What a Night. I would not want to repeat this one. On the way back from Mineola Rae called and said her car had died on her way back to Marshall. The panic in that kids voice just ripped at my mother's heart. I am 31/2 hours away from her. Why did this happen!!

Luckily I had signed up for the emergency service and had given her a card. She called and they towed her car back to the campus. She had called three of her friends (20 mins away) to pick her up from the gas station where she was stranded and they all waited for her at the gas station for the tow truck. Whew. I wish she had gone to school locally. But she seems to have landed on her feet. Thank you God.

My ulcer has flared. I am sick to my stomach this morning because of the state I had worked myself up to.

Today is going to be an interesting one for sure.

A first for me

Well this is going to be a first for me. I didn't think I was ever going to figure out how to do this but it seems as if the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train after all
